For designers and art enthusiasts

Both a café and a space for artists (renting out its floors for exhibitions and private events), PLAD attracts design and art enthusiasts. Located in the heart of Seoul Forest, it seamlessly blends into the trendy neighborhood known for fashion, beauty, and art. The venue spans multiple floors, with the main spaces on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th floors.

A tilted sign greets you as you walk along the alleyway leading to the café. Stepping inside, you're welcomed by a spacious, open interior featuring designer furniture and art pieces tastefully displayed on walls and atop coffee tables.

I’d recommend exploring the entire space before ordering— it’s tricky to open doors, press elevator buttons, and climb stairs while holding a cup of hot tea (trust me).

When I visited, the top floors were much quieter. It felt more like being invited into a wealthy designer home, complete with cozy lawn chairs and blankets—though the blankets were probably more for display.

I loved the natural light streaming through the windows throughout the building. You'll especially enjoy the top floor, where you can take in the minimalist space while admiring the lovely neighborhood view.

Their tea and pound cake combo was also perfect.
